Born on November 11, 1981, I was raised in the small town of Toledo, WA. After receiving my first keyboard as a gift from my parents at the age of 9, I spent countless hours mimicking themes from movie soundtracks until I had them exactly right, playing only by ear.
Already realizing my other passion in filmmaking at a young age, I decided I had better learn to read music if I were to pursue both together. I enrolled in 5th grade band and continued throughout high school, where I often times persuaded the teacher to purchase film scores for the band to perform in concert.
I went on to attend Western Washington University in Bellingham to study film, after which I co-founded production company P-51 Pictures and began directing the feature film, The Dream Garden.
I called upon fellow musician Tim Carlson to help co-write the musical score for the movie. After the success of our teamwork became apparent, we went on to form Global Fusion Soundtrack in order to continue working together and help others at the same time.
